Message from the CEO
CV Life is a community based charity, seeking to ensure that everyone within Coventry is provided with the opportunities to enjoy and benefit from physical activity, exercise and fun in a comfortable social setting.
We totally understand and have immediately aligned with the latest government directive to temporarily close gyms, leisure centres and other destination venues such as water parks. Whilst we seek to ensure that people remain as active and as healthy as possible, we also understand the need at this time for ‘physical distancing’.
In the meantime, we desperately want to ensure that people are given every opportunity to remain as physically active as possible, such that we are currently innovating as many opportunities as possible to ensure that this is possible in different settings.
Accordingly, we are currently building a weekly parks-based programme for exercise to music classes that will be delivered in open air settings, to ensure that everyone can continue to benefit from fun and upbeat physical activity whilst also having a comfortable space around them. This will be open to all the public free of charge – follow our website for details.
Similarly, we will this week be launching our online Lifestyles members’ portal to workout classes in partnership with both Technogym and Les Mills fitness. This will allow our members to access fitness in their homes.
At CV Life, our charitable and community mission within the city is set upon ensuring everyone has the opportunity to access fit and healthy lifestyles. In order to do so, we are going to be required to continue staffing sessions and maintaining our facilities ready for when they re-open.
For our regular Lifestyles members and Aquarius Learn to Swim parents, we would encourage you all to consider maintaining your fitness and swim memberships so that we can continue to provide our services to people even through these most challenging times.
Alternatively, you could avoid re-joining fees and / or maintain your swimming lesson class place by freezing your subscription for a much lesser charge, which would also entitle you to the online fitness links within Lifestlyes and to reserve your place within swimming lessons.
In the meantime, I would like to pass on my best wishes to each and every one of you, along with your family and those that are close to you.

What happens to my waterpark booking?
Unfortunately your session will be cancelled. We ask all those who have booked tickets to avoid contacting The Wave directly. The team at The Wave will be in touch as soon as possible with those affected.
What happens to my Lifestyles Health & Fitness membership?
Following guidelines from the UK Government, your session will unfortunately be cancelled. We ask all those who have booked tickets to avoid contacting The Wave directly. The team at The Wave will be in touch as soon as possible with those affected.
In relation to your monthly membership fees, they have now been frozen for free, so that you do not need to do anything. We will not draw any fees through your Direct Debit until such a time as we can re-open the facilities. This will save you the trouble of having to re-join at a later date and also save you the expense of any re-joining fees.
Our Lifestyles Fitness team are still here to help. We will provide you daily home workouts and remote assistance on how to stay active and healthy, streamed through your My Wellness app. Please continue to check your email and our website for updates.
