Terms and Conditions

All participants of the Waterpark use the facility at their own risk.

Entrance is for a minimum of 2 hours for General Administration and 1 hour for Family Fun and Parent and Toddler.

Rides will begin to shut down 30 minutes before closing time.

All rides are subject to availability. We can’t guarantee you will get on all the rides due to the large numbers.

Management takes no responsibility for the loss/damage of personal possessions whilst on site.

Tickets

The following tickets are available to purchase online only as either peak, off-peak or special tickets eg. Quiet Time.

• Adult – for customers strictly over the age of 12.
• Juniors – for customers strictly under the age of 12.
• Family – for customers with 2 Adults and 2 Juniors, who must be under 12.
• Infant – for customers strictly under 1 years.
• Disabled and Accompanying Carer – available as an Adult, Junior, Family (2 Adults and 2 Juniors, who must be under 12) and Accompanying Carer.
  Proof of identity, such as Disability Living Allowance or Attendance Allowance award letter, must be provided for Disabled and Carers. A full list of accepted IDs can be found on our Admissions Policy page.
• Parent and Toddler – for customers with 1 adult and 1 child. Available only for Parent and Toddler sessions.
• Parent and Toddler Additional Adult – Available only for Parent and Toddler sessions.
• Parent and Toddler Family – for customers with 2 adults and 2 children. Available only for Parent and Toddler sessions.

With the purchase of an admission ticket and/ or entrance to the facility, all visitors accept the house rules and all other rules established for the assurance of operational safety, which can be found on our Admissions Policy page.

Ratios

Children under 11 years of age are only permitted when accompanied by an adult (18+). Adults (18+) must actively ensure the supervision of the children during their entire stay at the facility. Lifeguards cannot ensure constant supervision of children.

• Children (of any age) who cannot swim must be accompanied by an adult (18+) on a 1 to 1 basis in the water.
• Children under 4 must be accompanied by an adult (18+) on a 1 to 1 basis in the water.
• Children who can swim aged between 4 and 11 years must be accompanied by an adult (18+) on a 2 to 1 basis in the water.
• Children who can swim aged 11 and over may use the pool without an accompanying adult (18+) in the water

As well as the 1.2m minimum height restriction to ride the slides* the following weight limits also apply:

(* a child under 1.2m can go on the Cascade with an adult, aged 18+, at their discretion)

Please note, that pregnant customers will only be able to use the Wave Pool, Lazy River and The Reef at their own discretion.

As we have catering facilities available on site we do not allow visitors to consume their own food or drink on the premises.

Online Sales – Terms and Conditions

Guests are welcomed to The Wave subject to the following Terms and Conditions.

Payment will be taken upon placing order.  

Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Tickets cannot be sold or passed to any third party.

The management at The Wave reserves the right to transfer tickets to another date at any time if it is deemed necessary i.e. Essential maintenance is required.

ONLINE BOOKINGS:

The Wave reserves the right to:

• Refuse admission e.g. for rowdy behaviour or under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Refuse entry to any person or remove any guest
• Carry out reasonable searches of an individual or property prior to entry
• Carry out reasonable surveillance of an individual whilst in The Wave for security and safety purposes
• Discounts cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer

The Wave uses a third party payment processor to take online bookings and makes every effort to ensure complete guest confidentiality with regards to any on-line payments. Credit card details will be secured via encrypted means as it travels over the Internet. Payment card will be debited at the time of purchase.
